Wyoming Trail Adventures

“The open road is a beckoning, a strangeness, a place where a man can lose himself," said Wiliam Least Heat-Moon. Brush Creek Ranch exemplifies that sentiment, offering guests a plentitude of opportunities to explore and discover over 50 miles of Western expanse and endless aspects of adventure. Explore the lands by hiking, biking, trail running, or horseback riding right here on the ranch.  Private hiking trips to the peak of the Medicine Bow at 12,000 ft. brings you the once in a lifetime opportunity to hike to one of the highest elevations in the United States.

Brush Creek Ranch has more than 50 miles of groomed single & double track trails for our guests to experience. Designed in partnership with world-class adventure racer Mike Kloser the trail system spans the high country of the Ranch alongside the adjacent million-acre Medicine Bow National Forest for endless exploration. Bucolic paths meander through the willow groves and towering cottonwoods along the creek. High-country trails offer commanding views of the surrounding mountain peaks. With so many options for exploration, our trail programs keep guests endlessly entertained. In addition to our cattle, horse and bison herds, sightings of wildlife include moose, deer, antelope, eagles, hawks and other birds of prey along with vast array of other native flora and fauna.

For an educational tour around the Ranch, sign up for a Ranger Tour, a guided tour with a narration of Ranch history and sustainable plan. Or work up a sweat on a mountain biking escapade, either guided or solo, as you explore our trail system.  Other onsite activities include paintball, geocaching and orienteering.
