Join us as we welcome the return of psychiatrist, mental health advocate, and award-winning author Dr. Drew Ramsey, as he collaborates with our Ranch culinary and activities teams for an insightful and restorative mental fitness weekend. Engage with Dr. Ramsey in the kitchen and out in the wide-open meadows of Brush Creek Ranch. Learn how to nourish your way to better mental health through cooking with nutrients for a better brain and enhancing your mood with brain pleasing activities.

Thursday, June 23 – Welcome Reception & Book Signing – 5:00-6:00pm

Mix, mingle, and meet Dr. Drew Ramsey and fellow guests on their similar journeys to wellness.

Open and inclusive to all lodging guests of Brush Creek Ranch.

Friday, June 24 – Seed-to-Table Cooking Experience – 9:00am-12:30pm

Enjoy the backdrop of The Farm at Brush Creek with Dr. Ramsey for an intimate discussion and ‘hands on’ sessions revealing his personal insights and latest research to enhance mental health and fitness. Begin the day with a morning symposium, followed by a tour and selection of organically grown vegetables from the Ranch’s greenhouses. Interact with Dr. Ramsey as he guides guests through the benefits of the foods we eat during an engaging healthy cooking class.

Saturday, June 25 – "Mountain Bathing" Journey – 7:30-11:30am

Guided by Dr. Drew Ramsey, experience the benefits nature provides to mental fitness and personal wellbeing. Explore the Medicine Bow National Forest through walking, hiking, talking, and meditation.

Sunday, June 26 – Horseback Riding with Dr. Ramsey – 9:30am

Join Dr. Ramsey and the Brush Creek Ranch equestrian team for a horseback ride through the lush Wyoming landscape. Your ride will include a stop at a mountain top vista to enjoy the captivating views and final inspirational thoughts from Dr. Ramsey.

Meet Dr. Drew Ramsey

Focusing his work on nutritional psychiatry, mental health and optimizing mental fitness, Drew Ramsey, MD, founded and leads the Brain Food Clinic. His work provides consultation and integrative treatment regarding depression, anxiety and emotional wellness concerns. A leader in the field of nutritional psychology Dr. Ramsey has been featured by The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Lancet Psychiatry, The Today Show, BBC, and NPR and he has given three TEDx talks. He is the co-author of the Antidepressant Food Scale and his e-courses on Nutritional Psychiatry education for the public and clinicians. His award-winning books Eat to Beat Depression and Anxiety (Harperwave 2021), Eat Complete, 50 Shades of Kale, and The Happiness Diet explore the connections between mental health and nutrition. He is on the Advisory Board at Men’s Health and on the Editorial Board at Medscape Psychiatry.
