A Wyoming Adventure: Luxury Guest Ranch Magee Homestead Review
Driving into the rolling plains of Saratoga, Wyoming, an entrance gate marked with the words “Magee Homestead” held a one-of-a-kind adventure. As I passed underneath, the nine beautifully restored cabins dotted the left side of the road, and to the right, the breathtaking seventy-five miles of trails that would be my playground for the next few days.
If there is something I always cherish about Wyoming, it’s indeed their friendly smiles. I felt at home the minute I arrived — the kind of welcome that eases you into a relaxed state of mind. As part of the all-inclusive ranch stay, at arrival Magee Homestead helped tailor my stay with included activities like fly-fishing, sunrise yoga, a horseback ride, and clay shooting. I was set for two days of adventure, secluded in an enchanting setting.
As you walk into the lodging area, the historic cabins provide an intimate retreat. With an adult-only setting, it is the ultimate destination for those looking to turn off their cell-phones and be immersed in the outdoors. With an onsite spa featuring a heated pool and grotto, you can recharge after an adventure with snacks and drinks from the library room. I loved making my way there in the late afternoon to unwind before dinner.
