Do I need to know how to fish to do a stillwater trip?

No experience is necessary for fishing stillwaters. Less variables, easy for learning to cast and chances of success are higher for beginners.

Do I have to wear a life jacket?

Life jackets are mandatory on certain stretches.

How deep is the water?

Mostly shallow, 1-4 feet. Some areas can get 10-20 feet though.

Will I catch a fish?

Likely but not guaranteed.

Do I need a fishing license?

Licenses are NOT required for ponds, only rivers.
