Frequently Asked Questions
What if the hikers in the group want drastically different levels of hikes?
We will add another guide and split the group up in order accommodate everyone in the group.
What if I don’t have hiking boots?
Running shoes are fine, and we have hiking shoes (Keen brand) you can borrow if you prefer.
Will we see wildlife? If yes what?
It is always a possibility. Mule deer, falcons, bald eagles, marmots, prairie dogs, and rabbits are most common.
If I get tired can someone come pick us up?
I’m a little nervous to hike alone. How can I keep in touch?
We recommend going with a guide if you are nervous, but we can give you the phone number to the Outfitters Barn in case you need to get in touch for any reason.
Are the trails marked and is there a trail map?
Yes, and we are constantly improving our trail system so it’s easy and safe for our guests to navigate.
