Horseback Picnic Rides

The trails here are endless, so why cut your ride short? Explore our 30,000 pristine mountain acres far and wide with a full-day or half-day picnic ride. Trail options include the remote and historic Sanger Ranch, with views of the mountains, creek, rocky outcroppings, and more. Stop mid-ride at a scenic lookout for a delicious lunch in nature. Saddle back up for a variety of optional adventures such as water crossings, shed (antler) hunting, and more.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we wear our own boots to ride?

Only if your boots can be slipped on/off without zippers or buckles and have around a 2 inch heel.

Can I bring my camera/water bottle?

No, for safety reasons, but our wranglers will carry any of your personal belongings and water in their saddle bags. We are happy to take pictures of you. There are also water stations along some of the trails.

Are there any days we can't ride?

Horseback riding is available 6 days per week with 1 day of rest.
