Over 10 different float options ranging from two miles to 20 miles depending on water levels and conditions. Float season typically runs mid-may through July.

Nestled in the stunning backcountry of southern Wyoming sits The North Platte River watershed. Largely revered as one of the most iconic flyfishing destinations in the world, Brush Creek Ranch owns exclusive access to over 10 miles of these acclaimed trout waters. Whether by raft, drift boat or waders, our Orvis-certified guides will outfit you with top-of-the-line gear and know-how, while the Wyoming countryside provides the views and memories that will last a lifetime.

Our Waters

Some of the most notable tributaries in North America can be found in Wyoming. The upper reaches of the North Platte River flow through the Sierra Madre National Forest, then enter the Encampment River Wilderness area. French Creek and Brush Creek start high up in the Medicine Bow National Forest and run through our land. These waters, as well as our 6 different stillwater fisheries, offer guests unparalleled fishing experiences.

Current Conditions

Spring in Wyoming offers perfect conditions for fly fishing on the miles of crystal-clear waters flowing through Brush Creek Ranch. As the snow in the lower elevations of the mountains in Medicine Bow National Forest melts away, water levels rise making float trips the popular method of fishing for the spring season. However, wade fishing is still feasible and a great way to connect with the blossoming land around you. Waters are brimming with thousands of trout during the spring, providing ample opportunity to make memories that will last a lifetime.
