Then embrace the spirit of the West during a wide-variety of adventures, including horseback riding, archery and gun ranges, fly fishing, line dancing, and even customizing your own purple cowboy hat, as a symbol of solidarity and hope. Throughout your all-inclusive weekend, you’ll indulge in gourmet farm‑to‑table cuisine, sip wine from one of the world’s largest collections or handcrafted purple mocktails, and enjoy an array of restorative activities curated to rejuvenate your mind, body, and spirit.

Meet Laurie MacCaskill

Laurie is a pancreatic cancer survivor since 2006 and a five-year survivor of endometrial cancer, living a life of purpose with passion, determination, and gratitude. After being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in perfect health and given just 3–6 months to live, she endured years of treatment and complications—and emerged cancer-free. Today, Laurie speaks nationwide, inspiring patients and caregivers by sharing her journey, coaching those facing a cancer diagnosis, and ensuring hope remains at the forefront.

A recognized leader in the cancer community, Laurie served for ten years on the Board of Directors of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, including a term as Board Chair. She has partnered with Cancer Connect, supporting over a million patients annually, and collaborated with Myriad Genetics to raise awareness of genetic testing for the pancreatic cancer community. Her advocacy includes motivational speaking, participation on pharmaceutical panels, appearances on CNN Health Minute, KABC Morning News, People Magazine, Shape Magazine, The Mighty, Coping Magazine, Everyday Health, The Dr. Oz Show, and campaigns such as Publicis’ Times Square #workingwithcancer. She has also shared her insights with YPO/WPO, business organizations, ASCO, Research America, and PRECEDE, where she serves on the board.

Laurie has traveled the country delivering motivational speeches and connecting with patients, volunteers, researchers, industry professionals, and Members of Congress to advance pancreatic cancer treatment, clinical trials, and early detection. Beyond her cancer advocacy, she has been a champion of the arts and wellness: serving on the Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Board for the National Committee for the Performing Arts at the Kennedy Center; a founding board member of the Aspen Center for Integral Health; and an active member of the Blue Ribbon Los Angeles Music Center, The Colleagues–Los Angeles, the Council of the Library Foundation, and MOMA–San Francisco.

Born in Brentwood, California, Laurie is a fourth-generation Californian who has also lived in Honolulu, Miami, Kansas City, Newport Beach, San Francisco, Aspen, Dallas and currently resides in Baltimore.

Meet Annie Dixon., M.S.

As Executive Director of the SWW® Coaching Programs, Annie oversees a team of 25 Registered Dietitians, Clinical Nutritionists, and Integrative Health Coaches to ensure clients receive consistent guidance, accountability, and results. She also serves as the liaison between clients and SWW physician partners, helping coordinate care and integrate lifestyle strategies with medical insights.

Working with high-intent clients, Annie incorporates data from tools such as continuous glucose monitors (CGMs), body composition scans, and wearable technologies like Oura and WHOOP to track progress and personalize recommendations in real time.

Annie implements The SWW Method, a simple 5-step system, with clients and drives home that her coaching philosophy centers on helping clients build sustainable habits around nutrition, movement, sleep, and recovery so they can become the strongest versions of themselves—both physically and mentally.

Annie lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband and their three children. Outside of coaching, she enjoys staying active with her family and continuing to explore ways to help others build healthier, stronger lives.
