English-Driven Hunting with Purdey

Stand on the edge of adventure on 15,000 private acres of carefully managed, historical bird habitat in south-central Wyoming. French Creek at Brush Creek Ranch, our elite all-inclusive enclave, awaits for passionate outdoorsmen and women looking to embark on a one-of-a-kind hunting weekend with Purdey Guns & Rifles.

The classic hunting traditions of old England meet the modern spirit of the American West to combine for a wingshooting experience not found anywhere else in the world. Once only offered in Europe, is now exclusively offered here across our diverse terrain at the base of the Rocky Mountains. A true driven hunt places the highest priority on sportsmanship and etiquette, ensuring all participating members of the drive are frequently offered the highest quality of pheasants at the most optimal flight presentations. Join us and Purdey for a weekend of sport, tradition, and camaraderie.

10 Available Pegs – pheasants will be driven over a waiting gun line composed of up to ten shooting positions, otherwise known as “pegs”.

*Traditional English attire is suggested. Limited vests and breeks available. Bringing your own items is recommended.

Saturday, September 7

  • Arrive early to enjoy a gourmet lunch and afternoon activity of your choice.

Sunday, September 8

  • Morning English-Style Driven Hunt. Try your aim with Purdey Shotguns in pursuit of driven pheasants.
  • Practice your shooting accuracy with an afternoon at the gun range.
  • Gourmet dinner from French Creek’s personal chef.

Monday, September 9

  • Second English-Style Driven Hunt to start your day. Try your aim with Purdey Shotguns in pursuit of driven pheasants.
  • Optional shooting range practice or another activity of your choice.
  • Final night feast featuring a 5-course wine dinner including the ranch’s own 100% American Wagyu beef and local game.

Tuesday, September 10 

  • Enjoy a hearty ranch breakfast before saying farewell.
