Once the ranch freezes over in December or January, ice fishing takes center stage. Our guides equip you with all the gear you need— including ice augers, tackle, and comfortable shelters— for fruitful expeditions to our six private ponds, each of which is amply stocked with Rainbow and Brown trout.
Some of the most notable tributaries in North America can be found in Wyoming. The upper reaches of the North Platte River flow through the Sierra Madre National Forest, then enter the Encampment River Wilderness area. French Creek and Brush Creek start high up in the Medicine Bow National Forest and run through our land. These waters, as well as our 6 different stillwater fisheries, offer guests unparalleled fishing experiences.
We are in the heart of our winter season here in the upper North Platte River Valley. For the most part, our rivers are locked up with ice and unfishable. The focus of our angling adventures is on ice fishing and tying flies in preparation of the upcoming season and closely monitoring the weather and snowpack reports.
